Gethsemane

One night we rest a while
It's dark It's cold My feet are tired
My friends they sleep they do not know
In time they may

And as I rest my knee in prayer
I feel not much but despair
I close My eyes and sweat it falls
Why am I the One?

Father Do you love Me?
The why should I die
For Your people for Your people?
Father is there some other way?
Your will not Mine

Oh Lord My heart thumps with fear
It's all so much I need You here
But at this time Your task is clear

I will step when time arise
Which will lead to My demise
But in the end Your goal is near
God's glory is here

Oh Lord I know there's no other way
For I am the Truth the Life the Way

Give Me Strength

And I will rise for Your people Your People
